About Swata  Gandhi

I founded Gandhi Vantage Legal LLC to offer mission-driven organizations, startups, and growing businesses the kind of accessible, strategic legal support I’ve provided throughout my nearly three decades as a corporate counsel and senior executive. My practice focuses on business law, commercial contracts, employment law, governance counsel, and executive advisory services for organizations that need practical, experienced guidance.

My career spans global corporations, high-growth businesses, and major public-sector initiatives. I was trained at AM Law 100 law firms, have served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer both full-time and fractionally, as Deputy Executive Director for a Maryland state authority, and senior counsel to organizations navigating complex governance, regulatory, and operational challenges. This includes advising corporations and public-sector entities on commercial agreements, workforce matters, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth initiatives, as well as co-managing an IPO process.

In addition to my in-house and public-sector work, I have served extensively on nonprofit boards and governance committees, providing firsthand insight into the responsibilities of executive directors, board leadership, and mission-driven organizations.
